This sprawling ranch is the kind of beach house I've always dreamed of. I absolutely love Nantucket, and beach life in general. I filled the space with touches that say 'beach' from the East Coast to Malibu, to islands around the world. By bringing in a little Bohemian Chic, I was able to incorporate color and vibrance throughout and make the spaces warm and friendly. Even though this is a home with kids, pets and countless guests, I still chose to use lots of white throughout, making sure to use Perennial fabrics for easy maintenance. I promise it can be done. Even if you spill. A lot. I'm kind of in love with the results. Take a look and please let me know what you think.

This home is truly a representation of a Nantucket summer home. The bright open space allows the sunshine to reach every part of the house. I chose colors that relate to the ocean and summertime. Greens and blues are my favorite to combine with whites. My son called this the "Happy House" which was the best compliment I could receive. My thoughts exactly!
